Trey Gowdy "Attacks on your character, attacks on your motives, are 1,000-times worse than anything you can do to anybody physically— at least it is for me.”

~Trey Gowdy October 18, 2015 interview

There ya go ... in his own words.

So, what exactly has Trey Gowdy been doing over the past few months to cause damage "1,000 times worse than anything you can do to anybody physically?"

Well, Gowdy has attacked Hillary's character& her motives through leaks to Politico from his position as Chair of the House Benghazi Committee.

On May 11, 2014.  Gowdy was on a Fox Sunday show with Chris Wallace and Chris Wallace mentioned that already, in May, most of Hillary's "negative" numbers are due to Benghazi.

WALLACE: So tell me the single biggest question you want to ask Secretary Clinton?

GOWDY: Why were we still in Benghazi? The British ambassador was almost assassinated. Our facility was attacked twice. There were multiple episodes of violence. We were the last flag flying in Benghazi and I would like to know why.

WALLACE: The Pew Research Center did a poll recently, I want to put results up on the screen because when asked, what single thing they have the most negative view of in Hillary Clinton's career people said Benghazi, even more than the Monica Lewinsky scandal.

No secret that Trey Gowdy's Benghazi hearing have been to bring Hillary's poll numbers down. Because, according to Trey Gowdy:
Trey Gowdy: "Attacks on your character, attacks on your motives, are 1,000-times worse than anything you can do to anybody physically..."
