Yes, Trump is a fascist who, at a SC rally last night, openly talked about creating a police state & ending the judicial branch: “I don’t want judges! I want ICE and border patrol agents!” And yes, that is what Hitler did too.

The Third Reich was a police state characterized by arbitrary arrest and imprisonment of political and ideological opponents in concentration camps.
With the reinterpretation of "protective custody" (Schutzhaft) in 1933, police power became independent of judicial controls. In Nazi terminology, protective custody meant the arrest—without judicial review—of real and potential opponents of the regime. "Protective custody" prisoners were not confined within the normal prison system but in concentration camps under the exclusive authority of the SS (Schutzstaffel; the elite guard of the Nazi state).
Trump does not even hide his fascist policies & rhetoric. Trump is a pathological liar who attacks the media and calls them the “enemy of the people” and demonizes brown refugees & brown immigrants calling them “invaders … criminals … infesting our country” and that’s the same thing Hitler wrote about Jews in Mein Kampf
HITLER "Der Jude Kriminell ... Jude eindringling"
which translates to: “the Jew criminal … Jew invaders”
Hitler also used 'invaders … infestation' to describe Jews in Hitler's propaganda film, "The Eternal Jew" wherein Hitler depicted Jews as parasites & criminals. The narrator of Hitler’s propaganda film says:
… as rats are the vermin of the animal kingdom, Jews are the vermin of the human race and similarly spread disease and corruption. Where rats appear, they bring ruin by destroying mankind's goods and foodstuffs. In this way, they spread disease, plague, leprosy, typhoid fever, cholera, dysentery, and so on. They are cunning, cowardly and cruel and are found mostly in large packs. Among the animals, they represent the rudiment of an insidious, underground destruction – just like the Jews among human beings.
As Madeleine Albright put it in her New York Times piece, Will We Stop Trump Before It’s Too Late? Albright writes,
Fascism poses a more serious threat now than at any time since the end of World War II.
Mr. Trump has attacked the judiciary, ridiculed the media, defended torture, condoned police brutality, urged supporters to rough up hecklers and — jokingly or not — equated mere policy disagreements with treason. He tried to undermine faith in America’s electoral process through a bogus advisory commission on voter integrity. He routinely vilifies federal law enforcement institutions. He libels immigrants and the countries from which they come. His words are so often at odds with the truth that they can appear ignorant, yet are in fact calculated to exacerbate religious, social and racial divisions.
Since this past weekend when Sarah Huckabee Sanders was politely asked to leave a restaurant because she enables Trump’s fascism by willfully lying to The People, I’ve heard many of Trump’s tv talking heads scream ‘THE LEFT NEEDS TO BE CIVIL!!!’
“civil?”
And what, exactly, is Trump & his talking head’s definition of “civility?”
Is civility carrying torches screaming “blood & soil?”
Is civility screaming brown refugees seeking asylim are “invaders, rapists, criminals?”
Is civility calling the media “enemy?”
Is civility saying “Democrats are the problem. They don’t care about crime and want illegal immigrants, no matter how bad they may be, to pour into and infest our Country ...” (Trump’s tweet June 19, 2018)
Well, let me tell ya’ something, “civility” is not what stopped Hitler. “Civility” did not stop: slavery, oppression in any country, the Holocaust, fascism, totalitarianism, brutal authoritarians, etc.
I also hear many Trump’s tv talking-heads saying ‘stop comparing Trump to Hitler.’ To that I say, I will not stop comparing Trump to Hitler because Trump is acting just like Hitler did during Hitler’s rise to power.
So, to reiterate my point, Donald Trump is a fascist who is engaging in similar fascist propaganda, lies, policies as Hitler. Look, I have no idea “how” to stop fascism from rising … but maintaining “civility” is not the answer.
